Nice event today in Collierville

I was fortunate to have a nice signing and speaking event at the Burch Library in Collierville today — and thanks to Kathryn from the library’s staff for taking care of the details. A former city schools basketball coach came by, as did a man who grew up in Starkville and had always heard of the 1963 team’s story. They left with books. So did a few more.

My friends Sarah Bynum and Russell Farley came by, too, and were (un)lucky enough to have their picture taken with the author.

That’s me on the left. Russell and I didn’t plan it, but we essentially wore the same shirt.

Thanks to all for coming by.

This week will be busy, but that’s a good thing. I’ll be in Tupelo at lunchtime Friday, speaking to the Civitan Club. And from 3:30 to 5, I’ll be at Reed’s Gum Tree Bookstore. You can buy signed copies at either event.

And as always, you can order signed and personalized copies by clicking that big button at the top of this page.

I want to get a copy of your book. Are there any more plans for booksignings in Memphis? Great idea to write the book. That was a significant event for Mississippi State and the State of Mississippi!!

    Good job.

      Hi Frances, I appreciate that!

I don’t have plans set for any more signings in or around Memphis except for watching the LSU-MSU game with the local alumni chapter on Nov. 10. My best advice is to hit the ‘Buy the Book’ button above an order online. I’ll sign and personalize every copy I sell.

Or, I can arrange for you to mail me a check. Either one’s fine. Let me know what’s best for you.
